A day of little discoveries.

A typical day at our Kita. Familiar rituals provide reassurance, with room for children's own ideas in between.

  1. 07:00–08:00

    A gentle start

Early-care children meet in the Gummibärenbande room, arrive at their own pace and choose what to play. At 08:00 they move to the four group rooms.

  2. 07:00–09:15

    A personal welcome

Every child receives a personal welcome. A short conversation with parents helps us respond to their child's needs.

  3. 07:45

    Into the woodland

The outdoor group leaves for its woodland base.

  4. 08:30–08:35

    Morning circle

Groups talk about the day, activities and projects, followed by a song or finger play.

  5. 08:35

    Breakfast together

Children share breakfast at a prepared table in their home group.

  6. ≈ 09:00

    Play, explore, go outside

Small-group projects, free play and outdoor play make room for discovery, alongside walks and visits to the playground, local market and woodland.

  7. 11:00

    Group time

Home groups gather for songs, conversations, games and birthday celebrations.

  8. 11:00 / 11:30

    Lunch

Nursery children eat at 11:00. Kindergarten children have lunch at 11:30.

  9. 12:00–14:00

    Rest and play

Children under three have their nap. Older children play in their rooms or outside. Around 14:00, children staying until 15:00 or 16:00 have a snack.

  10. 14:00–16:00

    A relaxed afternoon

Small games, crafts and free play fill the afternoon. The Kita day ends at 16:00.
